Renault ushers in Duster - a mid sized SUV, Scala - Sedan based on Renault's alliance partner Nissan's Sunny and Fluence - upmarket Sedan.


Renault cars are decently equipped and offered at the 'right' price. The trim level may not be at par with German cars - but then you don't shell out that kind of money either. Renault appears to have done its marketing research well - it has chosen the right spot to position its offerings. If they can maintain the prices, they can surely challenge other competitors here. They are here for a long term - going by the size of their investment in Oragadam in Chennai.
